Synnovis:

Logistics

Earlier this year we announced that Global Services Group (GSG) was to become Synnovis’s new pathology logistics provider to support sample collection and delivery and consumables ordering for primary and community care services in Bexley, Greenwich, Lewisham, Bromley, Southwark and Lambeth.

These pages have been created to provide all the information you will need to know about the new service.

The new service will replace the existing City Sprint and King’s College Hospital (KCH) services on a phased basis, with handover to be completed by 30 October 2022.

The handover period between City Sprint and GSG begins on 1 September 2022 with GSG drivers beginning some collections on 5 September as part of a phased approach.

GSG is a tried and tested logistics expert with an excellent performance record, and they understand pathology logistics. GSG already fulfils nine routes across Bexley, Greenwich and Lewisham, and has been SYNLAB’s logistics provider within the NHS partnership in Essex, Pathology First, for ten years.

A briefing pack has been circulated to practice managers and this and further information about the new logistics arrangements and this can be found here.

On these pages you will also find information about:

We look forward to working further with you and with GSG to provide the pathology collection and ordering service you need.
